  • I hear a lot of new bus owners say they are keeping the original floor because the rubber looks like it's in good shape.... As if that somehow indicates the condition of what's underneath it. Sorry to al break it to you but underneath your rubber floor there is usually a layer of gross, wet, rotting plywood that's steadily destroying the metal floor pan below it. You are way too early in your build to stay taking shortcuts! #skoolie #skoolieconversion #schoolbusconversion #floor #flooring #plywood #skoolieswarm #skoilienation #knowhowexpo
  • Washing the roof, getting it ready for paint. Pretty clear line of dirt separating the part I cleaned from the part I didn't get to yet. She's a dirty girl! Washed with @simplegreen and then treated a few scratches with #ospho rust converter. Tomorrow we tape and paint! #skoolie #schoolbusconversion #skoolieswarm #buslife #vanlife #diy #dirt

  • This is why this part of the conversion is going so slowly! More than half of the floor is up, but it's been more than a week getting there. My last bus, the floor was so ate up I pulled it up a handful at a time and had it done in an hour! #saltlife #skoolie #schoolbusconversion #tinyhouse #tinyliving #diy #toohot #skoolieswarm #florida
  • Seats gone! Tomorrow it's back to pulling up the floor. #skoolie #schoolbusconversion #emptyspaces
